- Detached accessory buildings cannot be in required front open space. They may be in required side or rear open space only if placement conditions are met and they are more than 3 ft from any lot line; structures over 200 sq ft may need more distance for fire-rating standards.

- Accessory buildings may not exceed 21 ft in height, measured from the midpoint of a pitched roof; accessory buildings may not be used as sleeping rooms or dwelling units.

We set most buildings on a level gravel pad, which is all the majority of sheds and garages need. Larger or permanent structures can call for a concrete slab or a rat wall, a perimeter footing that keeps rodents out and meets code for a permanent foundation. Questions About Buildings in Ann Arbor
Most likely, yes. We deliver within about 150 miles of our Northern Indiana and Southern Michigan shops, which covers most of southern to lower-mid Michigan, Northwest Ohio, and Northeast Indiana.
