Amish Sheds
Amish-built sheds give you real storage that lasts, from a tidy backyard utility shed to a finished studio you actually want to work in. Pick from six styles, three siding materials, and dozens of sizes. Built in Northern Indiana and Southern Michigan, delivered and set on your property with no assembly.
Our Shed Lineup
Every shed in this lineup is Amish-built in Northern Indiana and Southern Michigan and delivered to your property. No assembly, no finishing (unless you need it built on site). It goes where you want it and you're done. Pick the style that fits how you'll use it, then choose your size and siding material.
Most PopularUtility Shed
The practical workhorse for lawn gear, tools, and equipment. Our most versatile shed. Clean single-door entry, sturdy framing, and a profile that fits anywhere.

Garden Shed
Classic A-frame charm with double doors and natural light. Double doors at the front for easy access, side windows for cross-ventilation, and a roofline that fits next to almost any house.
PopularLofted Garden Shed
Doubles your storage without doubling your footprint. A full overhead loft built into the same ground space. Same floor plan, significantly more storage.

Klassic Garden Shed
The original Amish design, built like it always was. Extra windows, transom detail in the doors, and refined trim throughout. The Klassic earns its name.

Deluxe Garden Shed
Every upgrade included: lofts, transom door, trim, and then some. The version we'd build for ourselves. Two interior 4′ lofts, a transom-topped double door, a 5/12 roof pitch, and 6′ 6″ walls. Nothing was left as an afterthought.

Studio Shed
Modern proportions for home offices, studios, and creative work. The flattest pitch and tallest walls we offer. Designed to be finished, not just stored in.
Real Sheds. Real Yards.
Three Materials.
Same Craftsmanship.
Every shed we build uses the same pressure-treated framing and galvanized hardware. What you're choosing is the exterior — each material has a different trade-off between aesthetics, maintenance, and longevity.

LP SmartSide
Most popular choiceEngineered to resist moisture, rot, and insects from the inside out.
20 Sherwin-Williams colors painted at the Homestead Barns shop, with custom color matching available.
Backed by a 5/50-year manufacturer warranty, one of the strongest in the industry.

Metal
Longest lifespan29-gauge Galvalume-coated steel that won't rust or need painting for the life of the building.
Reflects heat to reduce interior temperature buildup during Michigan summers.
40+ year service life, often the last siding material an owner will ever put on a building.

Vinyl
Zero maintenanceUV-resistant PVC panels that hold their color without painting or staining.
Interlocking panel system rated for the high winds common across Southern Michigan.
Hose it off once a year and that's the full maintenance list.
Regardless of which siding you choose, the structural framing is identical — pressure-treated 2×4 studs, galvanized hardware throughout, and aluminum drip edges on all exposed roof lines. The bones are the same on every building we make.
Not What You're Used To
Most of this industry runs the same playbook: gimmicky pricing, a weekend sale that was never really a sale, and emails that never get a reply. We wrote our own, built on honesty and integrity. And when we don't have the answer, we work to get you one.
Our prices are on the website
Others: pricing hidden behind a contact form.
Design in 3D before anyone contacts you
Others: three sales calls before you know what anything costs.
Built and delivered by crews we know and trust
Others: subcontracted crews you never meet.
Confirmed build queue, honest lead time
Others: no real timeline, no updates until delivery day.
See Yours Before
You Buy It
Pick your style, size, colors, and options. Rotate it, zoom in, and make it yours. The whole process is easy and you'll walk away knowing exactly what your building looks like before you commit.

Two Ways to Get Your Building

Mule Delivery
Our standard option. Your building is hand-built at the shop, loaded onto a truck, and placed on your site with our specialized Mule machine. The Mule fits through tight gates and around landscaping that most trucks can't, with minimal impact on your lawn.
- Standard for ~85% of customers
- Fits through gates and tricky access
- Placed and leveled professionally

Build On-Site
When your site can't accept a pre-built delivery, like wooded lots, no road access, or unusually tight spaces, our craftsmen bring the workshop to you and build your structure piece by piece. Adds a few weeks to the timeline.
- About 1 in 5 customers choose this option
- Built piece by piece on your property
- Same craftsmen, same materials

Questions About Sheds
Our Amish-built sheds start around $2,465 for a compact 8×8 utility shed, and the price you see is the price of the building. A popular 10×12 runs in the $3,800 to $4,000 range depending on style and siding, and larger 12×16 or 12×20 sheds climb from there. You can see every size and current pricing on our pricing page.
If you're buying a shed that's already at one of our locations, delivery usually happens within 7 to 10 days, and often sooner once we schedule the logistics. A custom-built shed typically takes about 3 to 4 weeks, though during the summer peak season that can stretch to 5 to 6 weeks. Either way, our Mule delivery sets the building right where you want it.
It depends on your specific township, city, or county, since the rules are set locally. The common pattern in Southern Michigan is two steps: a zoning compliance permit covers most sheds up to 200 square feet, and anything larger usually needs a building permit. A 12x16 at 192 square feet often lands just under that line. A quick call to your zoning office tells you exactly where your build falls, and we can help you prep what they ask for.
Start with what you're storing and how you'll move around it. A 10×12 holds a riding mower with room for tools, bikes, and seasonal gear, while a 12×16 or 12×20 gives you space to work, add a bench, or store larger equipment. If you're torn between two sizes, most people are glad they went one size up.
Plenty. We see sheds turned into home offices, workshops, hobby studios, home gyms, and craft rooms once you add insulation, electrical, and a little finish work. If you're planning a year-round workspace, ask about insulation and upgrade options when you order.
Our sheds are hand-built by Amish craftsmen in Northern Indiana and Southern Michigan, with real 2×4 framing, 3/4" tongue-and-groove flooring, and LP SmartSide siding instead of thin panels and particleboard. They're built to stand for decades, not a few seasons, and they arrive finished and ready to use. The material warranties behind them speak to that longevity.
