Studio Sheds. Built to be finished, not just stored in.
The tallest walls and cleanest silhouette we make. A single-slope roof that rises to an 11' wall across the front, designed for home offices, art studios, fitness rooms, and creative work. You can stand anywhere inside, and it looks intentional next to the house.
The cleanest silhouette we make.
The studio's single-slope roof climbs from a 7'6" back wall to an 11' wall at the front, which floods the front of the building with light and gives it a clean, modern line that sits well next to a contemporary home. That tall front wall means you can stand and work anywhere inside, mount storage or lighting up high, and finish the interior to any height. On 10x12 and larger models, double doors with transom windows are standard, with a window on either side and a row of transom windows along the top of the front wall. 8-foot-wide models get transom doors and two sidelight windows.
The framing is standard 2×4 construction on 16-inch centers, the same as every building we make, but designed with interior finishing in mind. Insulation, drywall, and a mini-split go in cleanly. Many studio owners finish the space before they move anything into it. It arrives fully built, ready for you to finish inside (unless you need it built on site, we offer that too).

What people build inside them.
Backyard Home Office
Separate from the house, finished like a room. No commute, no distractions, no kids walking through. The studio's tall 11' front wall and clean roofline make it the most credible workspace in the backyard shed lineup.
Art & Creative Studio
Natural light, an 11' front wall for hanging large canvases or mounting storage, and a footprint that gives you room to work large. Many art studio owners add skylights and run the electrical before finishing. The structure supports all of it.
Fitness & Yoga Room
A rubber floor, some equipment, and a door that closes. That's all most people need. The tall front wall gives you overhead clearance for pull-up bars, rowers, and yoga flows that a lower shed can't accommodate. Heat or cool it with a mini-split and it works year-round.

How it gets to you.

Mule Delivery
Your building arrives on a trailer and is placed with our specialized Mule machine. It rolls across lawns with minimal turf disturbance, fits through tighter access than a full truck and trailer, and sets the building exactly where you want it.

Build On-Site
For sites where a pre-built delivery can't reach (wooded lots, no road access, or unusually tight spaces) our crew brings the workshop to you and builds your structure piece by piece on your property. Same materials, same craftsmanship.
Studio Shed Questions
Yes, that's exactly what it's built for. The 2×4 framing takes insulation and drywall, and we can spray foam it for you for a tight, finished envelope. Most owners add a mini split for heating and cooling and wire it for outlets and lighting. We deliver it unfinished inside, so you take it as far as you like.
The roofline. The studio uses a modern single-slope roof instead of the traditional A-frame, climbing from a 7'6" back wall to an 11' wall at the front. That gives it clean, contemporary lines and a front full of light, the tallest walls in our whole lineup. It's designed to be finished and lived in, an office, art studio, or fitness room, rather than just stored in.
It's built for it. Transom windows and the tall single-slope front wall pull in a lot of daylight, and you can add more glass when you order. It's the brightest, most finished-feeling building in the shed lineup.
Used as an office, studio, or workout space, a studio shed often needs only a zoning compliance permit, which many areas require for buildings up to 200 square feet. It's when it becomes living space or somewhere people sleep that a building permit and ADU rules come into play, and those vary by township. If you're planning a finished, lived-in space, check with your local office first.
A custom studio usually takes about 3 to 4 weeks to build and deliver, or 5 to 6 in peak summer. Studios are built in Colon, Michigan, with free delivery across Southern Michigan and out to roughly 150 miles, and in-stock ones at our Adrian or Carleton lots go out within a week or two.
Yes. Studio sheds qualify for rent-to-own with no credit check, on 36 or 48-month terms, and it's yours at the end. Ask either location or start in the 3D builder.
